‘acknowledges the positive impact and contribution that farmers, as custodians of the land, can have on biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and both the maintenance and protection of peatlands, and combatting the climate emergency; and calls on the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, in consultation with all stakeholders, to produce fully resourced strategies and implementation plans to protect, preserve and enhance our peatlands and woodlands without further delay.’
